Director + Cinematographer + Editor

I convinced cloistered nuns to let me live and film for two weeks inside their monastery in the Bronx, while the city was in quarantine. This ambient and observational short doc is an environmental study of solitude, silence, habit, and hope - four things that many of us struggled to embrace through the pandemic.

The film screened at Big Sky Film Festival, the Toronto International Women Film Festival, Rooftop Films, and at Joyce Kilmer Park in the Bronx through the Bronx Independent Cinema Center.

This film was sponsored by The Jacob Burns Film Center.
