I lived and filmed with contemplative nuns inside their cloistered monastery in the South Bronx during the Covid ‘19 lockdown. This ambient and observational short doc is an environmental study of solitude, silence, habit, and hope - four things that many of us struggled to embrace through the pandemic.

The film screened at Montana’s Big Sky Film Festival, the Toronto International Women Film Festival, Rooftop Films in Brooklyn’s Green-Wood Cemetery, and at Joyce Kilmer Park through the Bronx Independent Cinema Center.
